How do I transfer a domain name?

You can easily transfer a domain name to us. In the vast majority of cases you will need a token, also known as an authorisation code, transfer code, transfer key, auth code or EPP code. You can request this code from your current provider or the registrar that currently manages the domain name.

How to transfer your domain name to Kyzoe Hosting

1. Request the transfer code
   Contact your current provider and request the transfer code (EPP code) for your domain name. At the same time, check that the domain name is not locked (domain lock). If necessary, this must be removed first.

2. Start the transfer request
   Go to https://kyzoe.be/bestellen
   Enter your domain name and add it to the cart

3. Enter the transfer code
   During the ordering process you will be asked to enter the transfer code. Check it carefully; an incorrect code can delay the transfer or cause it to fail.

4. Complete the order
   Complete the order and, where applicable, the payment. Once this is done, we will automatically start the transfer procedure.

5. Confirmation by email
   In many cases you will also receive a confirmation email (from the current registrar or registry). It is important that you confirm this to complete the transfer successfully.

What can you expect?

• A domain transfer takes on average a few hours to a few days, depending on the extension (.be, .nl, .com, …).
• Your domain name remains active during the transfer; there is normally no downtime.
• For most extensions, the registration period is automatically extended by one year.
