In this guide, we explain step by step how to create a new website via the Kyzoe control panel. No technical knowledge needed — just follow the steps.
What do you need?
- Your login details for the control panel
- The domain name of your new website (for example
mijnwebsite.be)
Step 1: Log in
Go to https://cp.vcloudhosting.eu and log in with your username and password. You will now land on your dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Websites
In the menu on the left, click Websites. Here you will see an overview of all your existing websites.
Step 3: Add a new website
Click the Add website button in the top right-hand corner. A new window opens.
Step 4: Enter the details
Enter your website’s domain name, for example mijnwebsite.be. There is no need to add www or https:// in front of it — the domain name on its own is enough.
Then click Add website to confirm.
The system now sets everything up automatically: the web space, the user and the technical settings. This only takes a few seconds.
Step 5: Point your domain
To make your website visible online, your domain name needs to “point” to our server. Is your domain already managed by Kyzoe? Then this is usually taken care of automatically. Do you manage your domain elsewhere? Then get in touch with us and we will help you set it up correctly.
Step 6: Security (SSL)
A secure website is recognisable by the padlock, and https:// is standard nowadays. As soon as your domain points to the server correctly, the SSL certificate is activated automatically (this can take up to 2 hours, but is usually quicker). So normally you don’t need to do anything for this.
What next?
Your website is ready. Want to install a WordPress website, create email addresses or upload files? You can also do that via the control panel, under your website’s settings. We have separate guides available for this.
