We make a backup every day and keep it for 30 days in a different data centre. You restore a backup yourself via the hosting panel at cp.vcloudhosting.eu.

Test on staging first

With web hosting and Managed WordPress you get staging sites (1, 3 or 10, depending on your plan). Test an update or a new design there, and only put it live when everything works.

Email included

Mailboxes on your own domain name are included in your hosting plan, with webmail. You don’t need a separate email service.

WordPress maintenance with Managed WordPress

If you choose Managed WordPress, we keep WordPress itself, your theme and your plugins up to date. You don’t have to worry about it.

How your migration works

Request and inventory

You fill in the migration form. We look at what needs to move: websites, databases, mailboxes and domain names.

Agree on access and planning

We send you a secure link to share your access details, and we choose a moment together. Never send passwords via a form or ordinary email.

Transfer and check

We copy your mailboxes and website to Kyzoe and check everything. Your current site keeps working in the meantime.

Switch over after agreement

First the email, then the DNS and MX records. If your domain name moves too, we start the domain transfer with your transfer code.

Checks and aftercare

Together we check that everything works. Only then do you cancel your old hosting.

What does the free migration service cover?

Transferring your website(s), databases and mailboxes to a Kyzoe hosting plan. A domain transfer costs the same as one year of registration for the extension, incl. VAT (see the domain prices).

Does my domain name have to move too?

No. Your domain can stay with your current registrar; we then adjust the DNS. If you want everything with one provider, we transfer it too with your transfer code.

Do you migrate my email too?

Yes, your mailboxes and existing messages. If you use Microsoft 365 or Exchange, you choose whether to keep it or migrate it too.

How is the switchover planned?

Together, at a time that suits you. First the email, then the DNS. DNS changes can take a few hours to become visible everywhere.

When do I cancel my old hosting?

Only when the migration and the checks are complete and everything works at Kyzoe. Mind the notice period and renewal date at your current provider.

Is WordPress maintenance included?

With Managed WordPress, yes: updates of WordPress, your theme and your plugins. With web hosting you manage WordPress yourself.
