Migrating from TransIP to Kyzoe

We transfer your website, databases and mailboxes from TransIP to Kyzoe for free. We plan the switchover with you and check everything before you cancel with TransIP.

Free migration of website and email

We transfer your website, databases and mailboxes. You provide the details, we do the technical work.

Email included

Mailboxes on your own domain name are included in your hosting plan, with webmail. You don’t need a separate email service.

Daily backups, kept for 30 days

We make a backup every day and keep it for 30 days in a different data centre. You restore a backup yourself via the hosting panel at cp.vcloudhosting.eu.

WordPress maintenance with Managed WordPress

If you choose Managed WordPress, we keep WordPress itself, your theme and your plugins up to date. You don’t have to worry about it.

How your migration from TransIP works

Request and inventory

You fill in the migration form. Together we look at what needs to move: websites, databases, mailboxes and domain names.

Agree on access and planning

We send you a secure link to share your access details, and we choose a moment together. Never send passwords via the form or ordinary email. Is your domain moving too? Then request the transfer code (authorisation code) of your domain from TransIP.

Transfer and check

We copy your mailboxes and your website to Kyzoe and check everything. In the meantime your site at TransIP keeps working as usual.

Switch over after agreement

At the agreed moment, first the email, then the DNS and MX records. If your domain name moves too, we start the domain transfer with your transfer code.

Checks and aftercare

Together we check that your website and email work properly. Only then do you cancel with TransIP. Check the notice period and renewal date of your plan at TransIP.

Questions about migrating from TransIP

Can I keep my existing domain name?

Yes. Your domain name remains yours. A migration only changes where your website and email run, and possibly where the domain is registered.

Do you migrate my email too?

Yes. We transfer your mailboxes and existing messages for free. If you use Microsoft 365 or Exchange, you choose: keep it with Microsoft or migrate to Kyzoe too.

Does my domain name have to move too?

No, that is not necessary. The domain can stay with TransIP or another registrar; we then adjust the DNS so that your website and email point to Kyzoe. If you want everything with one provider, we transfer the domain too with your transfer code.

How do I request my transfer code at TransIP?

You request the transfer code (also called authorisation or EPP code) in the TransIP control panel, in the settings of your domain name. Not working? We are happy to help.

What do you need to get started?

The migration form: which websites, domain names and mailboxes you have. We then send you a secure link for your access details. Never send passwords via a form or ordinary email.

How is the switchover planned?

Together, at a time that suits you. We migrate the email first and then switch the DNS, with minimal downtime. DNS changes can take a few hours to become visible everywhere.

When can I cancel my hosting at TransIP?

Only when the migration and the checks are complete and everything works at Kyzoe. Check the notice period and renewal date of your plan in your TransIP account, so you do not renew unnecessarily.

Is WordPress maintenance included?

With Managed WordPress, yes: we keep WordPress, your theme and your plugins up to date. With web hosting you manage WordPress yourself.

What does the free migration service cover?

Transferring your website(s), databases and mailboxes to a Kyzoe hosting plan. A domain transfer costs the same as one year of registration for the extension, incl. VAT (see the domain prices).
